Nepal real estate sector is transforming with the implementation of <\/span>Land Records Information System (LRIMS). <\/b>This revolutionary digital platform is reshaping how property transactions are done across the country, making land registration faster, more transparent and more secure for property buyers and sellers.<\/span><\/p>

What is LRIMS and Why does it matter for Real Estate?<\/b><\/h2>

The Land Records Information System (LRIMS) in the Land Reform\/ Land Revenue Offices is an e-governance initiative to make land administration services timely and information technology-based. Since LRIMS is a centralised system operated through Intranet, land administration information is more secure, reliable and real-time transactions status information can be obtained from central level. Developed under a $1.365 million ADB-funded ICT Development Project, LRIMS was first implemented across 14 major Land Revenue Offices (LROSs) or Malpot offices including prime locations like Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kaski and Kathmandu\u2019s key areas like Kalanki, Dillibazar and Chabahil. After successful testing in these 14 LROs, the system had already been started in all 126 LROs across the country by mid-Ashar 2078 under the regular budget program of the Government of Nepal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
